Mission Trail

The Mission Trail area commemorates San Antonio's indigenous peoples and the legacy of historic mission where they lived and worked. Replica facades of these historic structures serve as a backdrop for the Indian and missionary costumes worn by volunteers. Foods of the area are Armadillo Eggs, Buneulos, Pan Dulce (Funnel cakes), Prarie Chicken and Bongo K-Bobs. The Sombreros y Flores wagon offers a variety of standard and decorated hats which have gained an enthusiastic reception among visitors. Adding to the fun in Mission Trail are the famed Fortune Tellers providing revelations as they read their mystical cards.
