We will look for opportunities where we have a need and will have someone contact you when a position becomes available.

NIOSA is put on entirely by volunteers, so consider joining the fun as a volunteer and help the Conservation Society preserve the built and natural heritage of our region. Volunteers with any expertise are welcome: office/clerical, staging, booth shifts, and teardown.

Our event setup begins on April 17, 2024. The event dates are April 23 -26, 2024. Tear-down will take place on April 27, 2024.

NIOSA® Event - Booth Worker

Work in booths to prepare and serve foods, assist with cleanup, etc. Booth workers are encouraged to dress in costumes or Fiesta wear that reflect the area they work in.

4:30 - 8:00 PM

7:30 - 11:00 PM

NIOSA® Event - Alcohol Booth

(Must be 30 years of age and TABC certified)

Shift 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Shift 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Post-Event: Weekend Tear Down

Kitchen Food Preparation

Work in the NIOSA Kitchen prior to the event skewering meat for the Bongo K-Bob booth. Includes complimentary ticket for entry into the event during the week.

Volunteers are needed to work from 4:30 PM to approximately 10:00 PM to scan tickets at the gate or sell coupons for purchase of food and drinks.
