Fall Heritage Festival

The Conservations Society of San Antonio is sponsoring a "Fall Heritage Festival" in La Villita from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov 6, 2020. Event will be small in attendance, but large in spaces on the four-acres of La Villita National Historic District. Only 1,000 online tickets sold for adults - all in advance.


Food specialties will include Mr. Chicken, Maria's Tortillas, Bongo K Bobs, German Sausage on a Stick, Pollo Ranchero, Ranch Steaks, Aguacates, Churros, Fried Mushrooms, Beef Puffy Tacos, Crispy Shrimp Wraps, Beignets, Gingerbread and Corn in a Cup (hot buttered corn with mayonnaise, parmesan cheese and pico limon). Drink booths will include imported and domestic beers; wine Margaritas; wine; cold drinks and water.

The event will be produced by and benefit The Conservation Society and its many programs and services, including tours of historic sites for school children; grants for community preservation projects; two historic house museums; and research library; awards for the restoration of the built environment and for the publication of outstanding books on Texas history; speakers; and support of heritage projects.

**Any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19, despite additional precautions in place to mitigate this risk, we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during the event. By attending our event you voluntarily assume all risks related to the exposure to COVID-19.

These are some of the enhanced protocols for this event:

  • Ticketed event limited to 1,000 people in approximately 4 acres of La Villita property.
  • Additional hand sanitizer and hand wash stations positioned at entrances and throughout the venue.
  • Additional trash receptacles and portable restrooms spaced to allow social distancing.
  • Guests are required to wear masks unless they are sitting in a dining area and eating and/or drinking.
  • No congregating of groups of more than 10 people.
  • Enhanced sanitizing protocols for cleaning touch point areas.
  • Volunteers screened and non-touch temperatures taken.
  • All volunteer booth workers wearing masks and gloves.
  • 12-15 foot buffer zone between musical performers and attendees.
  • Separate dining areas established and socially distanced.
  • Electronic tickets used for entry, inclusive of food and beverage to eliminate transactions.

Tickets are non-refundable. Event will occur rain or shine.
