What To Wear
In Texas, weather plays an important part in attire selection. Visitors to A
Night In Old San Antonio® can expect April temperatures to range
from an average high of 85° to an average low
of 60°. Comfortable, casual clothing
and walking shoes will add to the pleasure of your NIOSA® experience. Keep in
mind that NIOSA® is a family event, so dress accordingly.

How To Get To NIOSA®
A Night In Old San Antonio® is held in the downtown, historic little village
of La Villita. Located on the banks of the San Antonio River, and bounded by
Alamo Street on the east, Presa Street on the west and Nueva Street on the
south, La Villita was developed in the mid to late 1800’s as a settlement
adjacent to Mission San Antonio de Valero (The Alamo.)
Public Transportation. VIA, the San Antonio public bus transportation
system, offers Park and Ride service from several locations throughout the

taxis also provide transportation along the San Antonio River with stops
convenient to NIOSA® gates.

Parking. The City of San Antonio and private parking contractors provide a
variety of lots within easy walking distance to NIOSA®. Rates vary.
Prohibited Items
For the safety and enjoyment of NIOSA® visitors, please be advised that we
must prohibit the following items:
Pets, baby strollers, ice chests, food & beverages, recreational wheels (i.e., scooters,
skateboards, rollerblades, etc.) and video cameras cannot be brought onto
the NIOSA® grounds.
