How To Get To NIOSA

A Night In Old San Antonio is held in the downtown, historic little village of La Villita. Located on the banks of the San Antonio River, and bounded by Alamo Street on the east, Presa Street on the west and Nueva Street on the south, La Villita was developed in the mid to late 1800’s as a settlement adjacent to Mission San Antonio de Valero (The Alamo).

Public Transportation

VIA, the San Antonio public bus transportation system, offers Park and Ride service from several locations throughout the city. Visit VIA’s Park and Ride for routes and fares information. River taxis also provide transportation along the San Antonio River with stops convenient to NIOSA gates.

Parking

The City of San Antonio and private parking contractors provide a variety of lots within easy walking distance to NIOSA. Rates vary.

Bike Corral

Bike Corrals hosted by S.A. Cycles will be located on S. Alamo & Nueva Street. 

 

Prohibited Items

For the safety and enjoyment of NIOSA visitors, please be advised that we must prohibit the following items:

  • Pets
  • Baby strollers (may be checked at gate)
  • Ice chests
  • Food & beverages
  • Recreational wheels (i.e., scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, heelys, etc.)
  • Video cameras cannot be brought onto the NIOSA grounds

Policies

General

  • All NIOSA patrons/participants and their belongings are subject to search; confiscated items will not be returned.
  • No backpacks, skateboards, Heelys or strollers allowed on NIOSA grounds. Strollers may be checked at gate entrances.
  • No refunds on admission tickets or food/beverage Coupons. NIOSA occurs rain or shine.
  • No weapons allowed on NIOSA grounds. Items will be confiscated and not returned.
  • No food or beverages may be brought onto NIOSA grounds. Items are subject to confiscation.

Notice of Filming and Photography

By entering the NIOSA premises and your presence at "A Night In Old San Antonio®", you consent to be photographed, filmed and /or otherwise recorded by media, NIOSA staff and contractors. Your entry constitutes your consent to such photography, filming, and/or recording and to any use in any and all media in perpetuity without payment, royalties, compensation or any other consideration. You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent given by you entering this area. If you do not agree with the foregoing, do not enter this area.

Other

  • We ID everyone for alcoholic beverage purchases.
  • No alcoholic sales to minors.
  • Ticket sales and coupon sales stop at 10 PM.
  • Alcoholic beverage sales stop at 10 PM.
  • Food booths are open until 10:30 PM.
  • Entertainment continues until 10:30 PM.
